Peter Dukes is a visual and media artist*, poet*, coder*, educator* and academic.*

He trained in Fine Art at Central St Martins and Royal College of Art and teaches at University of Westminster.

Past exhibitions have included work shown at Milch (London), Danielle Arnaud, South London Gallery, Pitzhanger Manor, Abbot Hall Art Gallery, 2yK Gallerie (Berlin) and others. He has had work in Magma and Long Poem Magazine and was an award winner in the 2017 Basil Bunting Poetry Competition.

He is currently a doctoral student working on a research-as-practice project in material poetics. This is under the supervision of Ahren Warner and Eleanor Morgan (and formerly Christin Bolewski) at Loughborough University. HUMBABA is work made through this project.
